Technical Officer – David Frampton
David Frampton brings some 40 years of local and international experience – and across a broad spread of the building industry – to his position as Technical Officer at Magryn & Associates.
A qualified carpenter/joiner and long-time building supervisor, David’s primary role is to conduct exploratory investigations to unearth faults with building work, examine the existing condition of structures, prepare detailed reports on any defects and recommend remedial solutions.
He commenced his career as a sub-contract carpenter with AV Jennings before progressing to serve as a construction supervisor at a number of leading building companies and, more recently, in the design and project management of both commercial and residential projects.
David, whose qualifications include a Building Certificate, a Building Inspector’s Certificate and a Diploma of Building Design and Technology, also enjoys a wealth of experience in hands-on trade work, technical capability and all elements of project administration and supervision.
Since joining Magryn & Associates in early 2017, he has applied his considerable expertise to investigation and building defect rectifications on large multi-storey buildings, and residential houses.
