Tyrone Van Bakel, Technical Officer at Magryn, brings over a decade of diverse experience in the building industry.
Beginning his career as an apprentice carpenter in 2008, Tyrone completed his apprenticeship in 2012 and spent the next six years honing his skills on residential and commercial projects. He then transitioned into supervision for four years, followed by a role as project manager.
Tyrone later pursued studies in community services, where he worked as both a support coordinator and mentoring coordinator, further developing his ability to connect with and support clients.
Known for his relaxed and approachable demeanour, Tyrone builds strong client relationships by making the process approachable and easy to understand. He has a keen eye for identifying both current and potential structural issues, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards of quality.
Tyrone thoroughly enjoys forensic investigations, often looking forward to new jobs as a chance to encounter and solve new challenges. As a tech enthusiast, he combines his building knowledge and technology skills to improve the quality and efficiency of his work.
