The sandbag revetments at Ratalang Basham beach in Port Elliot were designed by Magryn for Alexandrina Council following an adaption study of the coastline.
They were constructed to re-establish the dune system and protect the conservation reserve from saltwater intrusion. Since construction, the re-vegetation has established and the structures are hardly noticeable.
