Rogues Point Seawall

The seawall at Rogues point was originally designed in 2007, and constructed in 2018. The scope was to review, recommend and design coastal protection works to minimise erosion of the property frontages.

Beach width and amenity was maintained by inclusion of a sandbag groyne, sand nourishment and native planting at the top of the beach in the foredune.

In 2023 Magryn worked with another group of shack owners and the Coastal Protection Board (Department of Environment and Water) to design a continuation of the seawall.
