The Sequoia Luxury Lodges are constructed from a combination of precast concrete panels, steel and timber.
Due to being built on the side of a steep slope and partially on deep fill the footings were suspended and anchored to the rock via piers.
In addition to the structural design we were engaged to undertake the civil design.
As the lodges are high end, all exposed structural and civil elements were required to be visually appealing as well as functional.
